Hi, I’m Jennifer.
I am an old-school blogger – I have always loved journaling and sharing stories from my travels. Over the years I have maintained several blogs to document and share pictures and stories from afar. This started during a backpacking trip through Asia, continued during my two years of Peace Corps, and even included some of my early years traveling with a baby for the first time. I’ve found myself connecting to the digital world via internet cafes and random dial-up connections in faraway places. In fact, when internet was poor enough that posts would not go through, I would often send my stories to my mom in a series of emails so she could post them for me.

Fast forward twenty years, one incredible husband, and four spirited boys later, my story-sharing has dwindled, but my adventures continued. We are a half American (me), half German family that started out living in the US, but have lived overseas for the past seven years and most recently moved to Germany in late July.

And now, here is my latest blog. If you’ve found this, thank you for following along. I hope to share glimpses of life in Germany, our past and current travel adventures as a family, and reflections on all the changes happening around us. With a house filled with six people, there’s always something to document. And so, my new storytelling begins. I’d love for you to follow along as we figure out life here, one adventure at a time.
